PURPOSE FOR RUNNING A MINISTRY
Unlike the apostles of old who gave their all in following the lord and in achieving the purpose of God for humanity, these days saints have been drifted. If you are a careful reader of the bible, you will discover that there hasn’t being any that came to the lord without dropping something and picking up some thing. Therefore, the purpose of running a ministry should include:
1. RECONCILING MEN TO GOD: 2Cori.5:18-21, Rom5:10, Isa.1:18, Mt11:28 Today we see men, women and children going to church with their mind manipulated and misinformed. Some came because they were told that their dead husband shall rise or their neighbor whom they think is behind their problem shall die. But the purpose for God sending his only son (not angels, apostles, prophets, pastors etc) and the only son of God (Jesus Christ) gave his only life was to reconcile men to God.
Man went his way in disobedient to God’s words/law and felt it was not possible to come to God again, the enemy Capitalized in the ignorant of men & God’s abundant mercy. He (the devil) deceived man the most, but our God deemed it fit to send his son even his only begotten son to reconcile us to him and commit the ministry of reconciliation to us. If you are among those who fill that God can not forgive sin again, be assured that Jesus was made a sin for you though he know no sin Rom.5:10.
2. ASSURANCE OF HOPE TO THE HOPELESS. Act 2:2, Joel 2:32, Jer 33:3,

Hope was lost as soon as the man disobeyed God, the fellowship between God and man was no more. Up till now, when an upright man (born-again child of God) sin against God, his spiritual search light become deemed and he can not see hope in his future. If you look at that word sin, you will see that it is an abbreviation-

Any way you look at this description, it is not favorable at all – if you have the nature of Satan who will like to come near you? See satanic nature in Rom.1:29-31, Gal. 5:19-21. Immediately one goes into sin, Satan will give him an I.D. Card to identify him or her in his kingdom.
But there is hope for every one .Whosoever that shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved. You can come to Jesus now; he will restore your lost hope. Take my yoke upon you for I am meek and lonely………I will give you rest. The purpose of running a ministry is to assure you of your hope in Christ.
3. FELLOWSHIPING WITH GOD. Gen
The greatest problem of God is fellowship (Did I hear you say dose God have a problem?) the problem of God is how to remove the doubt in the heart of man and fellowship with him.

In the book of Isaiah, we are told that one of the names of Jesus is “Emmanuel’ which means – GOD WITH US (with man).He Came to be with man so that he can fellowship with him. If God rises early, sending his prophet that early to search for men, what can we say to the people that have forgotten their daily bible reading and quiet time? Pray to have fellowship with God. One of the major purposes of running a ministry is to lead people in to fellowship with God.
4. FELLOWSHIPING WITH FELLOW BRETHREN.

As we all know that a tree they say can not make a forest. Men who isolated themselves at a time or the other face teriable temptations, some over-came while some destroyed their lives and destiny by their Isolation – e.g. Eve was alone when she was temptated, the result is what all of us are facing now.
Judas Iscarriot was alone when he was temptated to betray his lord and master – He died for it.
Cain was alone when he was temptated to kill his brother –He becomes a fugitive and a vagabond. Peter was alone when he was temptated to deny his saviour before a maid.
As for our lord and saviour he was alone also when he was temptated by the devil but the bible told us that he was full of the spirit and was led into the wilderness by the same spirit and because he was complete God in man ,he can not fall to sin.
As you decided to stay on your own now, are you sure it is not temptation. Make sure you do not yield to sin- why not like the disciples come together for fellowship with others. Don’t be left behind, but can I ask you a question –Assuming John (the apostle) was in his house on the day of Pentecost and others where in the upper room, will he be baptized in the holy ghost the same time with others, or let’s assume James was angry with the leadership of the church in Jerusalem and could not go to the upper room-what would have happened to him. Fellowship with the brethren is the purpose of running a ministry.
